First Popcorn Friday, October 11th!
Art is brought into the classroom by our amazing volunteers who commit to coordinating with a teacher to come in and walk the class through an art project every month. The favorite of every class, our Art Docents bring a variety of styles, mediums, techniques, and knowledge to our students through projects.
The Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great Students) is an amazing group of dads dedicated to showing a strong presence of dads at school throughout the year by volunteering in the school, showing support at events.
Join us for a family movie night in the commons. Bring your pillows, blankets, and comfy clothes for a camp out style movie with a bunch of friends in the Sierra Heights Commons.
Our yearbook committee gathers photos at key events throughout the year as well as submissions from our families to create a memory book for our students.
Show your Eagles pride! Watch for details of this year's spirit wear at the beginning of each school year. Ordered on a pre-sale basis, this is the only time to get your spirit wear for spirit weeks, or everyday comfy sweatshirts!
Our marvelous Popcorn Friday team shows up every Friday from the fall until May to sell popcorn during lunch. Once students finish lunch, they may purchase a bag of popcorn for $0.50 to take out to recess. Adults may purchase at any time!
Our Book Fair committee works with Scholastic to bring awesome books right to Sierra Heights. Even more titles are available online through our Scholastic Online Book Fair.
A night playing Bingo and winning prizes in the spring. Bring your own dabber or use our tokens, it's always fun to see the excitement of our winners, especially when one is you!
During the 1st week of May, we honor our teachers and staff for all they do for our children throughout the year. A week of decorations and coordinated recognition to our hardworking, well deserving staff!
PTSA hosts a safe, fun and FREE Trunk-or-Treat in the staff parking lot at Sierra Heights Elementary School in October. All family members welcome.

While the main focus of our Membership committee is to sign interested families up with our PTSA, they are also very knowledgeable about our events, programs, and school in general. They are among our best "Go To" people for questions!

While neither PTSA membership nor background checks are required to volunteer at or attend PTSA events, Washington State Patrol Background Checks must be completed every 2 years in order to volunteer in the school, including volunteering at events on school property.
