At the end of each year, we celebrate our 5th Graders with rockets, a party, promotion to middle school ceremony. helping them assemble rockets, planning & hosting their party, and sending them off makes for a lot of activity at the end of the year. Our Angels Program matches children within our school in need of clothing and school supplies with families or groups able to provide these necessities through 3 donations throughout the year. With complete anonymity for both sides, our generous Angels help children within our community have a better year with their peers.
Art is brought into the classroom by our amazing volunteers who commit to coordinating with a teacher to come in and walk the class through an art project every month. The favorite of every class, our Art Docents bring a variety of styles, mediums, techniques, and knowledge to our students through projects from our art room, derived from their imagination, or found on Pinterest
At the beginning of each school year, the PTSA invites all of our families to a BBQ on our field. This is a time to reconnect with returning families and friends as well as welcome families new to our school community with food, activities, and general fun!
A night playing Bingo and winning prizes in the spring. Bring your own dabber or use our tokens, it's always fun to see the excitement of our winners, especially when one is you!
Three times a year, our Book Fair committee works with Scholastic to bring awesome books right to Sierra Heights. Even more titles are available online through our Scholastic Online Book Fair.
Collect those Box Tops! While $0.10 for one isn't much, when more than 600 families, teachers and staff collectively save them, they add up! Both the expiration date and manufacturer code must be intact for Box Tops to honor them. Watch for information in the spring on when to send them in for classroom prizes.
The efforts of our Donations Committee is seen throughout the year with wonderful acquisitions used for incentives and prizes that encourage participation while allowing the PTSA's funds to remain devoted to bringing more programs, events, and support to our school.
Come enjoy and night of skating at Sno-King Arena. We reserve the entire skate arena and you can all invite your friends and family.

Our biggest fundraising event is our No Hassle Fundraiser in the fall, but may also be seen through Spirit Nights at local restaurants or special shopping days at local retailers where our PTSA receives a portion of sales. Our annual No Hassle Fundraiser is free from catalog orders, sales, and deliveries, 100% of donations stay right here at Sierra Heights. AND, company matching funds are maximized through straight donations!

While the main focus of our Membership committee is to sign interested families up with our PTSA, they are also very knowledgeable about our events, programs, and school in general. They are among our best "Go To" people for questions!
Join us for a family movie night in the commons. Bring your pillows, blankets, and comfy clothes for a camp out style movie with a bunch of friends in the Sierra Heights Commons.
On the last day of school, we invite students, families and friends to Henry Moses Aquatic Center for a private pool party! We are restricted on the number of tickets we can sell. Pre-order yours to guarantee entry at the event!
Our marvelous Popcorn Friday team shows up every Friday from the fall until May to sell popcorn during lunch. Once students finish lunch, they may purchase a bag of popcorn for $0.50 to take out to recess. Adults may purchase at any time!
Show your Eagles pride! Watch for details of this year's spirit wear at the beginning of each school year. Ordered on a pre-sale basis, this is the only time to get your spirit wear for spirit weeks, or everyday comfy sweatshirts!
During the 1st week of May, we honor our teachers and staff for all they do for our children throughout the year. A week of decorations and coordinated recognition to our hardworking, well deserving staff!
The Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great Students) is an amazing group of dads dedicated to showing a strong presence of dads at school throughout the year by volunteering in the school, showing support at events, and hosting things like the best ice cream social around at the Art Fair in the spring.
Our yearbook committee gathers photos at key events throughout the year as well as submissions from our families to create a memory book for our students.
While neither PTSA membership nor background checks are required to volunteer at or attend PTSA events, Washington State Patrol Background Checks must be completed every 2 years in order to volunteer in the school, including volunteering at events on school property. Forms may be downloaded from our forms page or obtained in the office. Completed forms should be dropped off in the Sierra Heights office.
