5th Grade Party

As the year comes to a close, our 5th Graders get to spend a school day walking to a nearby park for a day of fun and celebration nearing the end of their journey in elementary.

5th Grade Promotion

Our 5th Graders have completed the first leg of their education. Watch our 5th Graders be promoted on to middle school in the fall with a promotion ceremony at the end of the year.

5th Grade Rockets

After painting and assembling rockets in small groups, our 5th Graders head out to the field to launch their rockets late in the school year.

Talk to your 5th grader's teacher about helping with assembly and / or launching.

Volunteer Opportunities

It's taken a lot to get our students all the way through 5th Grade and it takes a few more to get through end of year activities to celebrate their achievements.

5th Grade Party: While teachers get students to the park for celebrating at their party, a committee of volunteers work to plan the theme, food, and activities of the 5th Grade party as well as coordinate the events of the day.
5th Grade Promotion: As we celebrate their transition to middle school, a group of volunteers is needed to help with refreshments at the promotion ceremony.
Rockets: Volunteers are needed to come in on to help our 5th Graders assemble their rockets in small groups. This normally takes several days. More volunteers means fewer shifts for all.
